The Council

Freeworld International is governed by a five-member Council that provides strategic oversight, approves organisational policies, ensures compliance with statutory and donor requirements, and guides our long-term direction.

Management Team

Mr. Benjamin Kwadwo Appiah

Executive Director


is a Ghanaian with experience in Community Development and expertise in Community Mobilisation, Facilitation, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies and MSc. (NGO Studies and Management) from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds 4 certificates in Monitoring and Evaluation (from GIMPA, AACE Evaluation Training Institute and Global Health eLearning Center). He has considerable experience working International Organisations like World University Service of Canada (WUSC), SABRE Charitable Trust (A UK funded Charity), and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA).

Mr. Augustine Suuk Gbali

M&E Officer


holds a BSc. Development Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and currently pursuing a masters degree in Development Policy and Planning at KNUST. He has 6 years of experience in educational/district development planning, monitoring and evaluation. He also has 3 years teaching experience.

PAUL AKWASI BAAMI

Project Officer


holds an M.Phil. in Human Rights, Conflict and Peace Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Social Studies Education with Geography, both from the University of Education, Winneba. He serves as a Peace Ambassador for the Institute for Economics and World Citizenship (IEP & WC), promoting evidence-based strategies that address root causes of insecurity and foster national cohesion. Paul has extensive experience in programme coordination, community engagement, peacebuilding, and small arms control advocacy. At Freeworld International, he contributes to project design, field implementation, capacity-building, and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) processes.

Daniel Akangawein Anambam

Project Officer


holds a BSc in Agriculture and a Diploma in Horticulture Management, both from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He previously served as a Field Officer with the Ghana Census of Agriculture (2018–2019), collecting and validating agricultural data to support national planning, and completed his National Service with the Lawra office of the National Service Scheme (2018–2020). At Freeworld International, Daniel contributes to community mobilization, stakeholder engagement, field monitoring, and project reporting, with a focus on women's empowerment, rural livelihoods, and youth skills development.

Miss Elizabeth Appiah

Finance & Administration Officer


holds a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting with Computing and a Higher National Diploma in (Accountancy) from Kumasi Technical University. Elizabeth has a great experience working in Financial Institutions in Ghana and other organizations serving in various administrative capacities.

Vera Yeboah

Deputy Finance/Administration Officer


WASSCE graduate from Ejisu Senior High/Technical School. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Accounting with Computing at the Kumasi Technical University.
