Vera Yeboah is a motivated young Ghanaian professional from Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, with growing expertise in finance, administration and community development. She is currently pursuing an HND in Accounting with Computing at Kumasi Technical University, building strong analytical, digital and financial management skills to advance her career in development finance.
Since 2019, she has served as the Finance and Administrative Assistant at Freeworld International (FI), where she supports core accounting functions including maintaining cash books, processing invoices, updating financial spreadsheets, managing receivables and payables, and assisting with budgeting and audits. She also coordinates key administrative responsibilities such as filing, scheduling, logistics, travel arrangements and preparation of reports and meeting documentation. Her role extends to community engagement, particularly in monitoring Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs) and supporting FI’s outreach activities.
Vera also volunteered with the SOS Family Strengthening Programme, contributing to project implementation through data collection, participant monitoring and organizing community training sessions. Her strengths include effective communication, teamwork, punctuality, report writing and a strong passion for women’s empowerment and youth development.
Vera aspires to become a development-oriented financial professional dedicated to strengthening community resilience and promoting transparent, accountable local institutions. She is passionate about ethical leadership, accountability, youth and women development.
