Augustine Suuk Gbali

Augustine Suuk Gbali is a self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) professional with over 12 years of experience in program planning, data management, and evidence-based reporting. Since 2013, he has served as the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer at Freeworld International, where he leads data quality assurance, project performance tracking, and learning processes that inform program improvement and strategic decision-making. His work at Freeworld focuses on health, education, and community development initiatives, including major interventions such as HIV prevention programs and youth development projects.

Augustine’s career spans engagements with the Ghana Education Service, USAID, UNICEF, the World Bank, and the Ejisu Municipal Assembly. He has contributed significantly to monitoring and reporting on national and donor-funded initiatives, including the USAID LEARNING Project, School Feeding Programme, Free SHS monitoring, COVID-19 school interventions, the World Bank’s GALOP, and the National Literacy Acceleration Project (NALAP). His analytical approach ensures compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of evidence that supports policy and program decisions.

He holds a Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’ from Mount Mary College of Education and a BSc. in Development Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Augustine is highly skilled in SPSS, Excel, Kobo Toolbox, and Census-based tools, with strong capacity in community engagement, stakeholder coordination, and results-based management.

His interests include writing, following international development issues, and engaging in discussions on governance, social justice, public policy, and human rights.
